Treasure the Beach is a monthly beach cleanup occuring on the first Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Join us in the morning in front of the Seaside Aquarium to register and grab beach cleaning supplies (if it is raining, registration will be moved into the Aquarium’s gift shop).  Located just two blocks from downtown, you can spend the rest of the day enjoying all of the small shops and restaurants.

Parking is located two blocks away at 120 Oceanway Street, with restrooms nearby inside of the Carousel Mall.

Every year thousands of pounds of trash enters the marine environment causing significant damage to our marine community.  Most of the trash are plastics, which never completely decompose, instead they break down into microplastics and enter the food chain.  As major advocates for the marine environment and its inhabitants, the Seaside Aquarium along with the City of Seaside and the Seaside Downtown Development Association are proud to sponsor these beach monthly cleanups in partnership with SOLVE.
